Right to Life of Southwest Indiana invites high school students to participate in the annual Right to Life Oratory and Art Scholarship Contests.  The Scholarships offered are $1,000 for 1st place; $500 for 2nd place; and, $250 for 3rd place.

2023 Art Scholarship Contest

The Right to Life of Southwest Indiana Art Scholarship Contest strives to promote the ability of high school students to share their pro-life views with others.  Eligible students will create an original piece of pro-life art guided by the theme, “Love Them Both,” emphasizing the pro-life movement’s support of both mother and baby.  Artwork will be displayed at the 2023 Annual Banquet.

2023 Oratory Scholarship Contest

The Right to Life of Southwest Indiana Oratory Scholarship Contest strives to help high school juniors and seniors organize and express their views via an essay/speaking contest.  Eligible students will write a 5-7 minute pro-life speech and present it on February 23, 2023 for a panel of judges.  Students may address the following issues: abortion, euthanasia, infanticide, or stem cell research.
